From December 15, 2013 to January 17, 2014, the first exhibition with the theme of the formation and evolution of groups of modern Chinese scientist - " Technological Dream • Chinese Dream – the Theme Exhibition of Modern Chinese Scientists " was open at the National Museum of China. In this paper, the thinking processes of the creative team involved is reviewed in respect of designing the exhibition structure, writing the scripts, and selecting the exhibits, thus elaborating the academic ideology of “explaining history with people”, “explaining history with pictures”, and “explaining history with objects” based on academic research. Moreover, how to combine the research results of China’s modern scientific and technological history with public cultural communication more efficiently is summarized and discussed. |
